How SynaptrixAI Ltd handles personal data for Albumwright. Albumwright is built so that your music, prompts, lyrics and logins never reach us.

Effective date: 20 October 2026

In short

  • Albumwright runs on your computer. Your briefs, prompts, lyrics, music, library and AI conversations stay in your Chrome profile and your album folders, and travel directly between you and Suno, OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • We never receive your Suno account details or your ChatGPT or Claude logins.
  • If you buy Pro, Lemon Squeezy takes your payment and shares your order details with us. Albumwright checks your licence key with Lemon Squeezy when you activate it and about once a week.
  • If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
  • This website uses no cookies and no analytics.

Who we are

SynaptrixAI Ltd (“SynaptrixAI”, “we”, “us”) makes Albumwright and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17162325, with our registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

This policy covers the Albumwright Chrome extension, the Albumwright helper app for Windows, this website (albumwright.com), purchases of Albumwright Pro, and support. For any question or request about your personal data, email support@albumwright.com.

What stays on your computer

Albumwright is designed so that your creative work never reaches us.

  • Albumwright stores your briefs, album plans, prompts, lyrics, singer choices, library and settings in your Chrome profile, and saves finished albums to folders on your computer.
  • To make music on Suno, Albumwright reads and operates the suno.com tab you are signed in to, inside your own browser. That page content is used on your computer and is not sent to us.
  • The Albumwright helper runs OpenAI's Codex program or Anthropic's Claude Code program on your computer, signed in with your own account. Your prompts and the AI's replies go directly between your computer and OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • Music generation and downloads happen directly between your browser and Suno.

We don't receive, store or have access to any of this. Suno, OpenAI and Anthropic process it as your own service providers, under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. We are not responsible for how those companies handle your data.

We also never receive your Suno password, your ChatGPT or Claude login, or the sign-in details those programs keep on your computer.

Personal data we process

Licence activation and checks (Pro only)

When you activate Pro, Albumwright sends your licence key and an anonymous device label to Lemon Squeezy's licence service, and repeats the check about once a week. The device label lets your key count computers against the limit of three; it does not contain your name or email address. As with any internet request, Lemon Squeezy also receives your device's IP address. Through Lemon Squeezy we can see which licence keys are active and on how many devices.

Why: to activate Pro, apply the three-computer limit and confirm your licence is valid. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR and EU GDPR).

Purchases

Lemon Squeezy is our online reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy Pro, you buy it from Lemon Squeezy, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. Lemon Squeezy shares order details with us: your name, email address, country, order and subscription details (product, plan, price, dates, status and refunds), and your licence key and its activations. We never receive your full card number.

Why: to provide Pro, handle cancellations and refunds, answer questions about your order, prevent fraud and keep accounting records. Legal bases: performance of our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)); compliance with our legal obligations for accounting and tax records (Article 6(1)(c)); and our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and in establishing or defending legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).

We use your email address to contact you about your purchase and licence. We only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Support and private beta emails

When you email support@albumwright.com, including to ask for a place in the private beta, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, your message and any attachments.

Why: to reply to you, fix problems, run the private beta and improve Albumwright. Legal bases: our legitimate interests in answering and supporting the people who use Albumwright (Article 6(1)(f)), and performance of our contract with you where your message is about a purchase (Article 6(1)(b)).

Please don't send passwords, sign-in codes or payment card details by email.

This website

albumwright.com is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, advertising or tracking, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from other websites. When you visit, GitHub processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and may log them for security purposes, under GitHub's own privacy statement. We don't receive those logs.

Legal basis: our legitimate interests in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).

The “Join the private beta” buttons open your own email program. Nothing is sent to us until you send that email.

Who we share personal data with

  • Lemon Squeezy, our reseller, Merchant of Record and licence service. It acts as an independent controller for the payment and tax information it needs as the seller, and handles licence checks for us.
  • GitHub, which hosts this website.
  • Our email service provider, which hosts our support mailbox on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Authorities and others where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect rights, safety or property, or to prevent fraud.
  • A buyer or successor if our business or Albumwright is sold or reorganised, who must then handle your data in line with this policy.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it for advertising.

International transfers

We are based in the United Kingdom. Lemon Squeezy and GitHub are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in other countries. When personal data is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy regulation or decision (such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified) or on standard contractual clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner or the European Commission. Email us for more information about these safeguards.

How long we keep it

InformationHow long
Order, subscription and licence recordsWhile your licence is active, then six years from the end of the financial year of your last transaction, to meet accounting and tax rules and to deal with legal claims.
Licence key activationsUntil the device is deactivated or the licence ends, then as part of the order records above.
Support and private beta emailsUp to 24 months after our last exchange, unless we need them longer for an open issue or a legal claim.
Website request logsWe hold none. GitHub keeps its own security logs under its privacy statement.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and, where it applies to you, EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data;
  • object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests;
  • receive data you gave us in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email support@albumwright.com. We will reply within one month. For complex requests we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you why. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. There is normally no charge.

Some rights have legal limits. For example, we must keep order records for the periods the law requires.

Because your creative work never reaches us, requests about it should go to Suno, OpenAI or Anthropic. You can delete the data Albumwright keeps on your computer by removing the extension from Chrome, uninstalling the helper and deleting your album folders. Removing the extension deletes its library, so export anything you want to keep first.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113, or by post to Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF. If you live in the European Economic Area, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

Albumwright is not directed at children under 16, and you must be 18 or over to buy Pro. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Security

We protect the personal data we hold with appropriate technical and organisational measures, use reputable providers, and limit access to people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify you and the regulator where the law requires.

Automated decisions

We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. The weekly licence check only confirms whether a licence key is valid.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. If a change significantly affects how we use your personal data, we will tell Pro customers by email before it takes effect.
