In short
- Free includes unlimited single songs and your first album. Pro adds unlimited albums, on up to 3 computers per licence key.
- Lemon Squeezy sells Pro as our Merchant of Record. Cancel any time and Pro keeps working to the end of the period you paid for. Every Pro payment has a 14-day money-back guarantee.
- You need your own Suno account, and your own OpenAI or Anthropic account, and you must follow their terms.
- You are responsible for what you make with Albumwright. Rights in your songs, lyrics and artwork come from Suno's, OpenAI's and Anthropic's terms, not from us.
- If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
This summary is here to help. The full terms below are what apply.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and SynaptrixAI Ltd (“SynaptrixAI”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17162325, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
They apply when you install or use Albumwright, meaning the Albumwright Chrome extension, the Albumwright helper app for Windows, and their updates (together, “Albumwright”), and when you buy Albumwright Pro. Our privacy policy and refund policy form part of these terms.
By installing or using Albumwright you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Albumwright.
Some sections apply differently to consumers (individuals acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession) and business customers. Where that is the case, the section says so. If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
Who can use Albumwright
You must be at least 16 years old to use Albumwright and at least 18 years old to buy Pro. You must also hold the third-party accounts described in section 7.
Your licence to use Albumwright
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Albumwright on computers you own or control, to make your own music, for as long as you comply with these terms. Free and Pro give you the features described in section 4.
Albumwright and all intellectual property in it belong to SynaptrixAI or its licensors. These terms give you no rights in Albumwright other than the licence above. Albumwright may include open-source components, which are licensed under their own terms.
You must not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lend or sublicense Albumwright;
- share or publish a licence key, or use one key on more than 3 computers;
- remove, disable or get around licence checks or plan limits;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble Albumwright, except to the extent the law allows you to;
- use Albumwright in a way that breaks the law or the terms of a third-party service; or
- use Albumwright to interfere with, overload or harm any service or network.
Free and Pro
Free includes unlimited single songs in Song mode and your first album, at no charge. We may change what Free includes. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes, and changes never affect music you have already made.
Pro adds unlimited albums. It is a subscription, billed monthly (US$12) or yearly (US$99). The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Each Pro licence key works on up to 3 computers at a time.
Buying Pro
Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record
Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, issues your receipts and invoices, and calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT. Lemon Squeezy's own buyer terms apply to the payment. We supply Albumwright and your licence, and we remain responsible for Albumwright itself.
Prices and your order
Prices are in US dollars. Any tax that applies is calculated at checkout based on your location, and your bank may charge a currency conversion fee. Your contract for Pro starts when Lemon Squeezy confirms your order by email.
Renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, and the renewal is charged to your payment method until you cancel. Lemon Squeezy sends you a receipt for each payment. If a renewal payment fails, Lemon Squeezy may try again, and Pro may stop working if the payment isn't made.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time using the subscription link in your Lemon Squeezy emails, or by emailing support@albumwright.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. We don't refund part-used periods, except under our 14-day money-back guarantee or where the law requires.
Price changes
If we change the price of Pro, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription. The new price applies from your first renewal after that notice period. If you don't want to pay it, you can cancel before then.
Refunds and your right to cancel
Every Pro payment, including each renewal, comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Consumers in the UK and the EU also have legal rights to cancel and legal rights if Albumwright is faulty. Our refund policy explains how these work together and how to ask for a refund.
Your accounts with other companies
Albumwright works with services that you get from other companies: Suno, for music generation, and either OpenAI (ChatGPT, through the Codex program) or Anthropic (Claude, through the Claude Code program), for writing and artwork. We don't provide, sell or resell any of these services.
- You must hold your own accounts with these companies, on plans that support how you use Albumwright: a Suno Pro or Premier plan, and either a ChatGPT plan that includes Codex or a Claude Pro or Max plan.
- You must comply with those companies' terms, policies and usage limits at all times. This includes Suno's terms of service, your Suno plan's limits and download allowances, and any rules those companies set about automation, content and commercial use.
- You pay those companies directly for subscriptions, credits and usage. Credit estimates in Albumwright are estimates; Suno decides what is actually charged. Unless a loss is caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence, we are not responsible for credits or usage you spend, including on results you don't like.
- Albumwright acts in your signed-in Suno tab, and runs the AI program you have linked, on your instructions. You are responsible for the actions you start, as if you had taken them yourself.
- Those companies can change, limit or suspend your accounts under their own terms. We have no control over that.
Your content and the music you make
You are responsible for the briefs, references, lyrics and other material you give Albumwright, and for the songs, lyrics, artwork and other results you create with it, including how you use, publish or release them.
Ownership of those results, and your right to use them commercially, are governed by Suno's terms (for music and audio), by OpenAI's or Anthropic's terms (for text and artwork made through them) and by your plans with those companies. They are not governed by us. We don't grant you any rights in results, and we don't claim any ownership of your content or results.
AI-generated results can be inaccurate, and can resemble existing works. Review lyrics, audio and artwork before you release them, and make sure you have the rights you need.
Albumwright does not send your content to us. Our privacy policy explains what we do receive.
Acceptable use
You must not use Albumwright to create, request or distribute:
- material that infringes anyone's copyright, trade marks or other rights, including lyrics or recordings you don't have the rights to use;
- imitations of a real artist's or person's voice, name, likeness or identity without their permission, or material presented as the work of a real artist who didn't make it;
- content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative, or that sexualises minors;
- content designed to deceive people, such as fake releases attributed to real artists or schemes to generate artificial streams; or
- anything that breaks the terms or usage limits of Suno, OpenAI or Anthropic.
We may suspend or end a licence that is used in breach of this section, as described in section 14.
Third-party services can change
Albumwright depends on Suno's website and on OpenAI's and Anthropic's programs, and their owners can change them at any time. A change can stop a feature from working until we update Albumwright. We will make reasonable efforts to update Albumwright when that happens, but we can't guarantee that Albumwright will stay compatible with any third-party service, or that any third-party service will remain available. If you are a consumer, this doesn't affect your legal rights described in section 13.
Updates to Albumwright
We may update Albumwright to fix problems, keep it compatible with third-party services, improve or change features, or for security or legal reasons. Chrome may install extension updates automatically, and you may need to install updates to the helper for Albumwright to keep working. If you are a Pro customer and we plan a change that would significantly reduce what Pro does for you, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel and ask for a refund of any unused prepaid period.
No affiliation
Suno is a trademark of Suno, Inc. ChatGPT and Codex are trademarks of OpenAI. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic. Albumwright is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Suno, OpenAI or Anthropic.
Our responsibility to you
If you are a consumer
We supply Albumwright with reasonable care and skill. Albumwright Pro must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, as the law requires. If it isn't, you have legal rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the UK: for example, to a repair or replacement, or to a price reduction or refund if we can't fix the problem. If defective digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content you own, and this is because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen, or if both you and we knew it might happen when the contract was made.
If you are a business customer
To the extent the law allows, Albumwright is provided “as is” and all terms implied by law are excluded. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings. Our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and US$100.
For everyone
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Except as set out above, we don't promise that Albumwright will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its results will meet your expectations. We are not responsible for the acts, availability or charges of third-party services, including Suno, OpenAI, Anthropic, Lemon Squeezy and Google Chrome.
Suspension and ending
- You can stop using Albumwright at any time by removing it. To stop paying for Pro, cancel your subscription as described in section 5.
- We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sharing a licence key or using Albumwright for infringing material. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. If we end Pro because you broke these terms, we will not refund your current period unless the law requires it.
- We may stop offering Albumwright. If we do, we will give Pro customers at least 30 days' notice by email and refund any prepaid period that has not been used.
- When your licence ends, you must stop using the features it covered. Your albums and files stay on your computer. Sections that by their nature should continue, including sections 8, 13 and 17, continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in Albumwright. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. For material changes, we will email Pro customers at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is required by law sooner. If you don't agree to a change, you can cancel before it takes effect. For consumers with an active subscription, changes apply from the first renewal after the notice period.
General
- Whole agreement. These terms, with our privacy policy and refund policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Albumwright.
- Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation; we will tell you, and it will not reduce your rights. You may only transfer yours with our written agreement.
- Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
- Severability. If a court decides that part of these terms is unlawful, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we delay in enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later.
- Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Consumers: you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, including in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Business customers: the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
